On Q Hanoverians strives for anatomical perfection to produce a horse that will be able to compete throughout your riding career. We also focus on temperament when considering stock in our breeding program.
We feel it's important to imprint our foals to insure that you have a horse that excels in communication and partnership. Some people claim that imprinting a foal consists of rubbing down a foal right after birth and they also tend to refer to feeding as "daily handling". At On Q Hanoverians, we truly enjoy and love our horses and want new owners to benefit from our passion. At On Q Hanoverians, we put in as much time as possible teaching manners, basic commands and handling to each and every horse and foal.
LEARN ABOUT Hanoverian Horses
A Hanoverian horse is a VERY special breed indeed. It was no accident that the horses ridden by Gold, Silver AND Bronze medalists in the 2008 Olympics for Individual Dressage were all of the Hanoverian breed. Many top Grand Prix Show Jumper horses share this same heritage as well. To learn more about this fabulously bred animal go to The American Hanoverian Society. We had a great time at the Annual AHS Meeting which was held in Reno, Nevada. It was great to put faces with names and see old friends. I met D'Lyte's breeder, Linda Woltz, of Walnut Farm. The Hanoverian mascot was so darned cute and I cannot believe I took no pictures.
Sinatra Song Filly, Singvogel "SongBird", Born on May 23, 2009!
CLICK HERE for pictures of FILLY! This is a GORGEOUS Sinatra Song filly with strong influence from her Feiner Stern line. "Song", is dark bay ultra sweet and calm. Great legs, neck and overall conformation. We could not be more pleased with this future star. The sire of this foal is the newly imported stallion, Sinatra Song, who is the son of the famous Sandro Hit. The dam is our amazing Feiner Stern mare, Feiner Abend "Farrah". I rate this filly EXCELLENT!
